The surgery has a computerised system for repeat prescriptions. There are several ways to order :

  • Post your request to the surgery, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope
  • Use the Internet - please ask reception for details
  • Call in person at the surgery
  • Telephone 0844 477 3038 and select option 3 for repeat prescriptions. Requests are taken Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri 10.30am-4.30pm and Thur 10.30am-12.30pm.

Please allow two working days for the surgery to prepare your repeat prescription, this includes internet requests.  Working days are Mon - Fri and exclude weekends and bank holidays

Please note that repeat prescriptions will only be issued for medication previously prescribed and authorised as a repeat by a doctor. Repeats are not normally authorised for antibiotics, contraception or painkillers. For these you may make an appointment with a clinician.

Only in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the doctors will prescriptions be telephoned to pharmacies. In such circumstances, you are required to provide the name of the pharmacy and telephone number.

Your health is your responsibility. This includes the ordering of repeat prescriptions in time. Emergency appointments will not be allocated in order to obtain repeat prescriptions.
